Moving your Equipment


Once your home has been sold, you will be moving your equipment.  There are two scenarios to consider:

1 - Only a hub is moved (lock stays on the home) and will be connected with a different lock at a new location

2 - The hub and lock are moved together from one home to another



1.  When the lock stays on the home, you will want to:

  • While the hub is still plugged in and online use the NterNow install tool:

    • Install Tool 

    • Select “Mark as Sold and Reset” tile

    • Your login is firstname.lastname

    • Type the Property ID or search by street name

    • Select Unpair

    • (This updates the property to SOLD in the system)

  • This will cause the hub to go offline as it does a reset and clears its pairing to the lock.

  • Do a Factory Reset on the lock that is staying on the Sold property and manually add any desired codes for the resident.

  • At the new property, you will complete the hub/lock pairing followed by the activation to the property as usual using https://install.nternow.com





2. When the hub and lock are moved together, you will want to:

  • Mark the Property as Sold in your NterNow dashboard

  • Move the lock and hub to the new property

    • Install the lock

  • Use the NterNow Install Tool to Activate the hub onto the new Property

    • Select “Manage Hub” from the Homepage

    • Select your hub's serial number from the list. It must have a Green dot indicating that it is online

    • Confirm that a lock is paired to the hub, then select "Activate Property"

    • Follow the prompts to select your Community and Address

    • Test the provided code to confirm
