Factory Reset Z-Wave Locks by model : NterNow

Find instructions to clear a z-wave lock by performing a Factory Reset below

Kwikset

On the interior half of the lock, slide the plastic cover off for access
Open the door and extend the bolt to the locked position
Slide the battery cartridge out of the top
Press the larger button (Program Button) while you slide the batter cartridge back in
Continue to hold the Program Button for 30 seconds
When the lock BEEPS, release the button - status LED will flash red
Press the Program button once more - status LED will alternate flashing red/green
The lock should begin retracting and extending the bolt to calibrate

Step 1: Unlock and then LOCK the deadbolt, deadbolt must be sticking out (locked)
Step 2: Remove the battery cover, press the program button .. not the A button.
Step 3: Count to 31 seconds
Step 4: Lock will beep red, Press the program button once more and it will flash green/red and make a noise like its unlocking and fully resetting to factory.
Step 5. Proceed with Activation!

Schlage

Remove the cover from the interior half of the lock
Disconnect the batteries
On the keypad, press and HOLD the Schlage button
While holding the button, reconnect the batteries
Release the Schlage button
The inside indicator and green check will blink if the Factory Reset is successful

Yale

A true Factory Reset on a Yale requires removing the lock from the door
For our purposes, we will perform an "Exclude" instead
On the keypad, enter the Master Programming Code (this is set during installation)
Press the Gear icon
Press number 7, then the Gear icon
In the NterNow install tool, tap the orange wrench then select "Exclude device"
On the lock keypad, Press number 3 then Gear icon
